Video Editor/Motion Graphics Designer

MBLM’s Dubai office is looking for a Video Editor/Motion Graphics Designer who will provide hands-on input within the Motion & Video team, expertly servicing each of the projects, while advancing the studio's abilities. This position is focused on developing the necessary skill set to become a successful Senior level editor/motion designer with increasingly greater team and client responsibilities. The candidate should be an expert in the tools and processes of video production and have strong abilities to tell stories through their work. We are a fast-paced, hard-working group that needs someone who is enthusiastic, a team player and looking to create beautiful experiences and videos.


  • Create professional-level transitions, logo animations and effects explorations.
  • Work with team members in other disciplines coordinating components of the production
  • Work smoothly with client and staff and present video productions to a client effectively
  • Continually communicate with managers on updates and status
  • Execute all motion graphics and video editing across wide spectrum of applications
  • Coordinate all video and motion graphics projects in collaboration with the wider team


  • 3+ years of related professional experience with a large portion of experience in corporate video production
  • Bachelor’s degree in mass communications, television production, educational media, or an equivalent combination of training and experience


  • Strong emphasis on editing movie scenes, creating advanced motion graphics as well as lay down musk and voice over tracks to scenes
  • Understanding of encoding and compression technologies, formats and post-production processes
  • Strong ability to articulate an idea for any aspect of a production
  • Ability to both translate scripts to storyboards and translate storyboards to video
  • A commitment to producing excellent work in the face of tight deadlines and regardless of overtime requirements
  • Able to work independently or with limited supervision, but also as part of an integrated team
  • Demonstrated creativity, flexibility and technical savvy
  • Experience in managing projects and timelines
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Audio mixing tools (Audition/other) and Adobe CC Suite
  • Proficiency with Cinema 4D and Nuke highly valued
