My Hero Gala

Design and campaign for fundraising event

Challenge

Founded in 1996, AID FOR AIDS is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering both communities at risk of HIV and the general population. AFA provides free antiretroviral medication to people around the world with HIV who lack access to treatment, promotes policy reform and capacity building, and offers preventive education and training to improve the quality of life and reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with HIV.

Every year, AID FOR AIDS holds its My Hero Gala to recognize celebrities and other individuals who have made an outstanding contribution in the fight against AIDS. The event is the nonprofit’s main fundraising effort and source of income and is attended by the most celebrated advocates and philanthropists from around the world.

For three years in a row, MBLM has helped AID FOR AIDS conceptualize, promote, and produce this important fundraising event.

Results

For three consecutive years MBLM has created distinctive concepts, from ideation to production, for the My Hero Gala. The event has featured promotional materials, event graphics, an art auction, supporting literature, and on-screen graphics.

MBLM is proud to have supported AID FOR AIDS’ largest fundraising efforts and helped to raise funds in support of this important organization and cause.
