Our New York office is looking for an Account Associate with >1 years of professional experience working at an agency and in social media. The Account Associate will be responsible for handling ever-changing daily tasks that support the Accounts team on a diverse range of marketing and client requests, such as handling PR requests and content management on different websites/platforms. Responsibilities also include collaborating with internal team members on creative and copywriting. The Account Associate  will also be responsible for agency marketing initiatives including the implementation of social media strategies with a focus on channel monitoring, editorial planning and day-to-day execution. This will encompass multiple channels, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Vimeo etc. The Account Associate will also contribute to the creation of social posts and help identify new opportunities for social content and campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Execute weekly and monthly social media plans to help grow follower base on key company social media outposts (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.), while meeting or exceeding KPI requirements
  • Help analyze effective benchmarks for measuring impact of social media efforts in order to determine campaign effectiveness through relevant monitoring tools and implement a strategic response
  • Ideate, research, source creative, craft and edit posts for the client and company social channels, collaborating with creative in the development of social media¬† resources (creative, messaging, page design, etc.) and making weekly media scans for potential content to publish to channels
  • Stay abreast of key industry trends, competitive insights and emerging social media/marketing technologies and report on best practices
  • Managing PR requests
  • Manage content and work with internal teams to execute updates on MBLM website
  • Manage content on OS platforms
  • Research and submission of award entries; working closely with partners and teams to gather content
  • Assist with creating client presentation and day-to-day tasks of Account team
  • Assist with conducting Client and internal meeting minutes¬†

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional work/internship experience, perfervidly in an Agency environment
  • Proficient creative and professional writing, editing and communication skills
  • Organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Skills and Competencies

  • Experience working with social media in a professional environment
  • Strong presentation skill as well as verbal/written communications skills
  • Ability to talk and write in the brand voice
  • Proficiency on Apple iWork and the Microsoft counterparts Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with digital analytics and measurement tools
  • Resourceful self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment who is well organized and detail oriented
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and strategies
