At MBLM, strategy interns understand the importance of brands and the means by which they communicate. They work within the strategy discipline, and closely with other members of the team, to craft stronger emotional bonds between brands and their stakeholders by supporting research, analysis, positioning, content creation and strategic marketing planning. Strategy interns have experience and a strong desire to be working in the branding, marketing, design industries.

Organizational Status: Reports directly to Senior Director, Strategy

Responsibilities

  • Brand and marketing communications analysis, including desktop marketing research, competitive research and analysis, and language usage audits
  • Writing, including brainstorming new brand names, defining messaging for client brands, adapting messaging to written marketing materials, content writing for internal webpages, case studies, articles and social posts
  • Execution and presentation, including creation of presentation slides and presentation of work to internal teams
  • Coordination and communication, attending internal meetings to gather and action feedback, attending client meetings to participate in presentations and capture feedback
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers and developers
