Making sense of a complex portfolio
TechnipFMC, a global company that produces market-leading life cycle products and services for the energy industry, faced a difficult challenge. With the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition Conference (ADIPEC) trade show approaching, TechnipFMC needed a simple solution to showcase its complex portfolio of products.
MBLM and our proprietary platform software was selected to intelligently categorize TechnipFMC’s complicated products according to a logical, informative system. The tool, powered by PresentationOS, created a 3-D world that allowed users to immerse themselves into a series of terrains or “worlds” where these products exists. Embedded into this fully interactive worldview was the ability for users to zoom in/out, rotate, and select from a range of detailed products. Each high-resolution model allows users to drill into the finest details or unique features. Further integrated into the platform are product videos and the ability to capture leads.
The new selling platform was unveiled at ADIPEC to rave reviews and high engagement. The solution was declared a success and a game changer for TechnipFMC.

The next phase will include new iterations of the platform on the website and on tablets used by remote sales teams. Content will also be expanded to encompass a wider range for the portfolio.
