Developing a Forward-Thinking Brand for a Next-Generation Medicine Tracking Solution

Challenge

In the pharmaceutical industry, tracking and validating medicines has always been challenging. Persistent issues such as errors in medicine identification and counterfeit drugs threaten public safety and trust. Evoteq, a BEEAH company and leader in transformational digital solutions, was on a mission to tackle these problems with a revolutionary approach. Partnering with key stakeholders and multinational software companies, Evoteq developed a smart medicine tracking tool designed to enhance drug traceability and prevent counterfeit products from reaching consumers.

SmartTrack leverages a cutting-edge digital solution that uses GS1-barcode technology for precise track-and-trace capabilities to ensure the authenticity of medicines throughout the supply chain. Each pack features a unique QR code, tracking its journey from manufacturer to patient. This data is logged in a comprehensive app, providing transparency and security throughout the supply chain.

Solution

MBLM played a crucial role in bringing SmartTrack’s brand to life. Drawing inspiration from the QR code—a key feature of the app—we designed a brand identity that truly captured the brand’s essence.

Our work extended to developing a comprehensive design system that highlighted SmartTrack’s innovative spirit. This included selecting typography that enhanced readability and presence, as well as establishing a color system that conveyed clarity and trust. We also created secondary graphics to support and enrich the brand’s visual language.

Additionally, we produced a dynamic product video that showcased SmartTrack’s benefits and features in a clear and engaging way. Corporate stationery and PowerPoint templates were crafted to ensure a consistent and professional brand image across all communications.
