Simplifying Ad Buying at Exhibition Venues with PresentationOS

Challenge

The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) venue sales team set out to transform their ad space sales process into a more engaging and efficient experience. Clients needed a way to visualize their ads across the entire DWTC campus, including the iconic exhibition halls. The existing offline process was not only cumbersome and time-consuming but also demanded excessive manual work and lacked 3D visualization.

MBLM created a highly accurate, scalable 3D model of the DWTC campus and seamlessly integrated it into an interactive platform accessible via both web and iPad.

Solution

To bring this vision to life, we proposed leveraging our presentation tool with an immersive 3D approach for the advertising media sales process. This innovative solution streamlined the ad-selling journey, enabling clients to visualize their ads in a realistic 3D environment. We started by creating a highly accurate, scalable 3D model of the DWTC campus and seamlessly integrated it into an interactive platform accessible via both web and iPad. We set out to refine the 3D model of the DWTC complex, ensuring it captured the venue’s scale and essence while maintaining optimal performance across multiple devices. Over 600 media spaces were meticulously mapped into the 3D model and integrated into a database, blending high-quality textures and intricate details with seamless functionality. A single image could be projected into selected areas and across the wider complex. The result was a visually captivating, interactive application. By integrating it into PresentationOS, we transformed a once paper-based process into a cutting-edge digital experience, enabling clients to see their ads come to life in the exact spaces they would occupy.
