Challenge
Photography played a key role in the design of slshotels.com, the new website MBLM created for the luxury lifestyle hotel. Well-known as a design-forward brand, SLS had impeccable architectural photography; however, little lifestyle photography existed.
MBLM crafted a direction that was all about capturing candid moments. From providing look books and direction to the celebrity stylist to hand-selecting models and providing on-site direction to the photographer and set stylists, we created a series of photos that boasted the creativity, fun and unexpected detailing to match the brand’s signature design and style.
Results
The photos breathed life into not only slshotels.com but other SLS Hotel materials as well. The style defined the brand’s new livelier, sexier direction and became the basis for a new brand video.
